The archpriest church of San Jaime apostle dates from the 18th century and was built in neoclassical style following the designs of the Carmelite monk Jose Alberto Pina. The octagonal shaped belfry tower comes from the ancient medieval church.
The church's integral restoration, which affects the belfry, the façades and buttresses, is in the hands of Fachadas Torremar, Alco being the supplier chosen for the assembly and rental of the scaffolding, from which he works will be carried out, the duration of which is estimated to extend for two years. |

The colina de Can sedó is an old industrial colony located in Esparreguera and dedicated to the textile sector. Opened in 1846, it functioned until 1915 and more than two thousand people worked in its buildings, being one of the most important textile factories of its time.
Currently, it is undergoing a profound transformation, promoted by the Generalitat de Catalunya, with the aim of converting the old industrial colony into a new residential area for the town. The restoration and transformation of the colony's old church into a modern cultural centre and of conventions is included within the framework of this action.

The rehabilitation company from Valladolid Muñoyerro, has acquired from Alco its second building hoist from the brand Torgar, model T3-05 of 500 kg., of the current year. The T3-05 is the perfect model for the works to be developed by Muñoyerro as its 500 kg of capacity enable it to supply the materials up to a height of 100 m, although the unit acquired reaches 33 m. It also provides a revolving platform of 1 x 1.5 m, three traps down-folding onto plant and incorporates safety detectors in all its doors which stop the machine functioning if they detect the doors have been opened. |

The works of the dual-carriageway Lérida-Huesca, which when they are finished will unite both province capitals by means of 110 km of dual carriageway on each direction, are progressing at a good pace, as they are executing 10 of the 11 stretches in which the project is divided into. Precisely in the strech of Velillas-Ponzano, which is the longest of all with 16.7 km which is being executed by the UTE formed by OHL and Mariano López Navarro; they are constructing the viaduct with the highest pillar of the entire dual-carriageway (54 m) to overcome the course of the river Alcanadre. |

The Goriz refuge is one of the mythical refuges of the National Park of Ordesa and Monte Perdido. Located at 2,200 m altitude, it is open all year round and its 100 beds are often not enough to accommodate all the mountaineers and hikers who visit the area.
After years of service, the company Prames is going to undertake the restoration and improvement of the refuge, by means of installing drainage pipes; for which it has trusted Alco to supply a revolving mini-excavator of 1,500 kg which will remain in the area between two and four months.
